Whether you want those squishy newborn memories, or the first smiles a few months down the track, baby sessions celebrate the joy and beauty of new life. I photograph organic details and documentary-styled imagery that gives glimpses into the growth of a family, the beautiful journey of motherhood, and the romance that can be found in everyday life.

It’s the bottom lip moments, how they grab your hair while feeding, bath-time, the peace that comes when they sleep. You don’t want to forget even the seemingly insignificant moments, because they won’t be insignificant in a couple years time. Baby sessions are normally done in your home or outdoors. The focus is on your love towards your new baby, so all immediate family members should be present in the shoot. If documenting the newborn stage is most important to you, we will tentatively book your shoot in for about a week after your due date. Once baby arrives, you’ll let me know and we can shift the date (if need be) to be within 14 days of birth.

If the smiles and personality are the moments you’d love to freeze, 3-4 months old is an absolutely beautiful age for photos. You’ve all settled into your new life a bit more now and the ‘chub’ that comes after a few months is ADORABLE!
